I am a graduate of Bradley Central High School.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development with teacher licensure from Lee University (actually, Lee College at that time.) I also earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

I have worked in education for more than 20 years.  I have been a first grade teacher, a reading specialist, a math team coach, an academic interventionist, and an instructional coach serving students from kindergarten through eighth grades.  I was blessed to be selected as the Bradley County and East Tennessee Teacher of the Year and to be selected as one of six finalist for the Tennessee Teacher of the Year in 2004; however, it is my extreme honor to serve the children of the Taylor community as principal of this outstanding school.
